| Hello everyone. Hope you don't mind me sneaking in on the bike website to post a message regarding our annual "out West" snowboard trip. Okay...I mean tele trip. I apologize for the procrastination. As a result of my procrastination I am now under the gun time wise to get any type of good deal. Numerous locales were recommended, such as; Lake Tahoe, Park City, Jackson Hole, Whistler & Vail. Whistler seemed to garner the most interest, but the Olympics will be hoted there in February. I've been told the Tahoe area can be awesome, but quite often the snow is heavy and wet. Newruck said we'd get tired of Park City in one day. Newruck and I always give Vail the most weight. The terrain is diverse and their is some nightlife. I know we don't do that anymore, but just in case. The other deal with Vail is that we should really consider hitting Breck and Beaver Creek. (if we're not sick). There is an very good deal on a place downtown that is truly downtown and is truly very, very close to the lifts.
